Ocorian appoints Fiona Crellin as managing director of the Cayman Islands

Financial services group Ocorian has appointed Fiona Crellin as managing director of the Cayman Islands.

In her new role, Crellin will support the delivery of Ocorian’s global strategy at a local level and will have responsibility for the company’s relationship with the local regulator.

Crellin has more than 20 years’ experience in the Cayman Islands’ trust industry.

Prior to becoming managing director of the Cayman Islands, Crellin was previously director of business implementation for Americas, Bermuda, and Caribbean at Ocorian.

Prior to Ocorian, Crellin was director at the Estera Trust where she was responsible for the management of fiduciary services and managing a portfolio of trusts and companies for high net worth individuals.

Commenting on the appointment, Jason Gerlis, global head of corporate and regional head of Americas, says: “Fiona’s promotion is testament to her hard work, proven track record and her exceptional knowledge of the finance sector in the Cayman Islands. As we look to grow our business on the global stage, it is critical to have high-calibre people such as Fiona representing the business locally.”
